چکیده

This article is concerned with a compositional approach for the construction of control barrier certificates large-scale interconnected stochastic systems while synthesizing hybrid controllers against high-level logic properties. Our proposed methodology involves decomposition into smaller subsystems and leverages notion control xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">sub-barrier certificates subsystems, enabling one to construct by employing some $\max$ -type small-gain conditions. The main goal synthesize enforcing complex properties, including ones represented accepting language deterministic finite automata, providing probabilistic guarantees on satisfaction given specifications in bounded-time horizons. To do so, we propose systematic first decompose simple reachability tasks utilizing automata corresponding complement specifications. We then sub-barrier local those simpler combine them obtain controller that ensures specification lower bound probability satisfaction. finally apply our techniques fully-interconnected Kuramoto network composed 100 nonlinear oscillators.

A Multichannel IOpS Small-Gain Theorem for Large Scale Systems

— This paper extends known results on the stability analysis of interconnected systems. In particular, a small-gain theorem for the interconnection of an arbitrary number of systems via communication channels is presented. Here the communication between the subsystems is over a delayed, possibly lossy communication channel. To this end, a notion of input-to-output stability for functional diffe...

From large-scale to small-scale dynamos

Several recent advances in turbulent dynamo theory are reviewed. High resolution simulations of small-scale and large-scale dynamo action in periodic domains are compared with each other and contrasted with similar results at low magnetic Prandtl numbers. It is argued that all the different cases show similarities at intermediate length scales. On the other hand, in the presence of helicity of ...

A partition-based algorithm for clustering large-scale software systems

Clustering techniques are used to extract the structure of software for understanding, maintaining, and refactoring. In the literature, most of the proposed approaches for software clustering are divided into hierarchical algorithms and search-based techniques. In the former, clustering is a process of merging (splitting) similar (non-similar) clusters. These techniques suffered from the drawba...

Compositional Abstraction for Stochastic Systems

We propose to exploit three-valued abstraction to stochastic systems in a compositional way. This combines the strengths of an aggressive state-based abstraction technique with compositional modeling. Applying this principle to interactive Markov chains yields abstract models that combine interval Markov chains and modal transition systems in a natural and orthogonal way. We prove the correctne...

An adaptive modified firefly algorithm to unit commitment problem for large-scale power systems

Unit commitment (UC) problem tries to schedule output power of generation units to meet the system demand for the next several hours at minimum cost. UC adds a time dimension to the economic dispatch problem with the additional choice of turning generators to be on or off.  In this paper, in order to improve both the exploitation and exploration abilities of the firefly algorithm (FA), a new mo...
